AR-20000-P Description

Bigger operations need bigger protection — and the Manitowoc Ice AR-20000-P Arctic Pure® Plus Water Filter Assembly Kit delivers exactly that. Built for cube, flake, or nugget ice machines producing between 601 and 1,000 pounds of ice per day, this primary water filter is rated to handle 20,000 gallons over its lifetime, giving high-volume operations the reliable filtration they need without constant upkeep.

At the core of this system is the same trusted triple protection that makes Arctic Pure Plus a standout choice. Ultra-fine, 0.5-micron filtration minimizes dirt, submicron particles, and contaminants like giardia cysts and cryptosporidium, so your ice stays clean and clear. A silver-impregnated carbon block slows the growth of bacteria, algae, mold, and slime on ice machine surfaces, keeping equipment sanitary between services. And SLOW PHOS® (slowly soluble polyphosphate) works around the clock to inhibit scale buildup, protecting internal components from the damage that shortens equipment life. Together, this combination reduces chlorine taste and odor by 95%, so the ice you serve looks clearer, tastes better, and smells fresher.

Installation is designed with the operator in mind. The assembly includes a head, shroud, hardware, and mounting bracket, and it installs vertically with just 2½ inches of clearance needed beneath the cartridge for simple, hassle-free replacement. To keep performance at its peak, swap the cartridge every 6 months or as soon as the pressure gauge drops below 35 PSI — whichever comes first. With a maximum flow rate of 1.25 GPM and the durability to handle water temperatures from 40°F to 90°F and air temperatures from 40°F to 110°F, this filter is built to keep pace with demanding, high-output ice production.
